Terms of Use

The line that matters most: GynoShift is an educational self-management companion. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat, or cure anything, and nothing in it — including AI photo reads, grades, notes, or community posts — is medical advice. A qualified clinician who examines you in person is the only definitive answer. If something feels urgent, contact a doctor or emergency services, not an app.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using GynoShift (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the App. The App is operated by Kaniki Pty Ltd ("we", "us").

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 to use the photo check, and at least 17 to use the App. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your sign-in method secure.

3. Not medical advice

All content — programme tasks, grades, AI-generated reads, notes and insights, cost and surgeon information, and community posts — is informational and educational. Grades and reads are estimates from limited inputs, clearly labelled as such. Surgeon listings are compiled from public sources and community reports; verify everything directly before making decisions. We make no guarantee of any physical outcome from using the App.

4. Your content and the community

• You post under an anonymous handle. You keep ownership of what you write; you grant us a licence to display and process it to operate the service (including AI moderation, evidence aggregation, and search).
• Be honest and decent. No harassment, no impersonation, no medical misinformation presented as fact, no content involving minors, no spam or promotion. First-person experience is the standard: say what happened to you.
• Photos you attach are public once posted, location-stripped, and shown blurred until tapped. Post only photos of yourself that you have the right to share.
• We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules. You can report any post, block any handle, and request removal of your own content.

5. Subscriptions (GynoShift Pro)

• Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Prices are shown in the App before purchase in your local currency.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings — deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• The paywall states exactly what Pro includes today. Features listed as "rolling out" are direction, not promises with dates.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies.

6. Fair use of the service

Don't attempt to break, probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the App or its services; don't use another person's account; don't use the App for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its design, its copy, and its software are ours or our licensors'. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the App — nothing more.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim connected to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections 3, 7, and 8 survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be flagged in the App before they apply. Continuing to use the App after that means you accept the updated Terms.
